It's a good place to take away your lunch before going into a long nature walk. We tried almost all savory pastries and some of the sweet ones over several days. We liked all, but our favourites are the cheese & onion pastry and the custard donut.
Sweet little bakery with plenty of choice. Had a sausage roll which was tasty and filling. Would go again anytime we are visiting the area.
Superb bakery with delicious cakes/bread etc. I will definately go there again, 100% better than the overpriced artisan bakeries. Reminds me of the village bakery that used to be in the village of Rockbeare. Well worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.

베이커리 근처에 카페들이 있는데 카페에서 음료 테이크 아웃하고 샌드위치랑 음료들 챙겨서 언덕에서 피크닉하면 록 다운 중에도 소소한 피크닉 분위기를 낼 수 있어요!!

One-liner: A small, cozy bakery with a charming atmosphere. I always stop by this bakery whenever I visit Chegford. The shop's design is so cute, and its central location makes it easy to access! If you're ever in Chegford, be sure to stop by this bakery! This British bakery sells traditional desserts and breads, and they've recently started selling homemade sandwiches. The tuna & tomato and tuna & cucumber sandwiches are especially generous with tuna. If you love tuna sandwiches, this bakery is a must-try! There are cafes near the bakery, so you can grab a drink to go, grab a sandwich and a drink, and have a picnic on the hill. This will create a nice picnic atmosphere even during lockdown! *Edit: I recently visited again and bought a slice of bread and an egg tart. The egg tart was delicious, but the bread they gave me seemed a little stale! Please note!
Owner was lovely, but the pasties? C’mon maaaan! At least warm them up. Stick them under a heat lamp to stay hot. They’re more like potato and steak than steak and potato. Jam donut was certifiably bussin, as was the Rocky Road slice.

Oh dear we have had a few pasties in Devon now and the big traditional shortcrust was horrible. Just a big lump of the mix in the middle :( gristly and chewy !
